A core city of the Yangtze River Delta, its position on the Hangzhou Bay 180 kilometres (110 mi) southwest of Shanghai gives it economic power, and moreover, it has also been one of the most renowned and prosperous cities of China for much of the last 1,000 years, due in part to its beautiful natural scenery; the city's West Lake is its best-known attraction.

Hangzhou is located in northern Zhejiang province, eastern China, at the southern end of the Grand Canal of China, on the plain of the mid-lower reaches of the Yangtze River (Cháng Jiāng). The prefecture-level region of Hangzhou extends west to the border with the hilly-country Anhui Province, and east to the flat-land near Hangzhou Bay. The city center is built around the eastern and northern sides of the West Lake, just north of the Qiantang River.

Hangzhou is renowned for its historic relics and natural beauty. It is often known as one of the most beautiful cities in China, also ranking as one of the most scenic cities. Although Hangzhou has been through many recent urban developments, it still retains its historical and cultural heritage. Today, tourism remains an important factor for Hangzhou's economy. One of Hangzhou's most popular sights is the West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The West Lake Cultural Landscape covers an area of 33 km2 (3,323 hectares) and includes some of Hangzhou's most notable historic and scenic places. Adjacent to the lake is a scenic area includes historical pagodas, cultural sites, as well as the natural beauty of the lake and hills.

This school has about 50 foreign teachers working in 4 of their schools. Students are mainly from 4-15 and class size range from 8-16. Salary is from 6500-7500 RMB per month depend on experience and qualification. School has peak season which is June through August and January through February. Teaching hour is 87 hours per month or 113 hours per month in peak season. School does provide over time fee, 9000RMB air reimbursement for one year contract, shared apartment, health insurance and 10 paid holidays.

Qualification required:

1) Education: Bachelor degree or above

2) Certificate: Minimum of TESOL Certificate or TEFL Certificate

3) Nationality: USA UK Canada Australia New Zealand

4) Experience: teaching experience preferred

5) Age limit: 23-45
