Job description:

This is one of the newest schools in Hohhot. It is a franchise school, with branches all over China, so you will have the winning formula of educational system proven here in China. What is more, the management have come directly from a global ESL chain, so they have the knowledge and experience to run the school exceptionally well. This is also one of the best paid private language centre positions in the province.

The school itself has a maximum class size of between 14-16 students. Classes are divided by age and by ability, which makes classes easy to teach. Student age in this centre in from three years up to 14 years-old. So a love of teaching children and being energetic in the classroom is essential.

Hohhot itself is a city of around 1.7 million people. For hundreds of years, the city was populated by nomadic Mongols and the city has also been heavily influenced by the Silk Road, which bought trade, ideas, customs, religion and language through the city from the west. This has created an exotic mixture of culture, local dialects and history, different to anywhere else in China!

The city is also close by to two distinct types of natural habitat. Firstly, there are the famous grasslands of Inner Mongolia stretching for miles, and secondly, high sand dunes from the Gobi desert. This place is perfect for the adventurous spirit! Come and teach English in Hohhot!

- 6,500RMB, rising to 7,000RMB after three months
